iPod Vending Machines??

According to market research people are 65% more likely to buy something if it is sold from a vending machine. So the fact that the iPod is the Worlds top selling MP3 player AND it's being sold from a vending machine seems a little like unfair business practice... Regardless of these facts, our surprise upong seeing this site was indescribable.
Let me try to break it down for you. Here are some facts about poverty and how it affects people on a global scale:
1. Half the world — nearly three billion people — live on less than two dollars a day.
2.The poorer the country, the more likely it is that debt repayments are being extracted directly from people who neither contracted the loans nor received any of the money.
3.“The lives of 1.7 million children will be needlessly lost this year [2000] because world governments have failed to reduce poverty levels”.
4. A few hundred millionaires now own as much wealth as the world’s poorest 2.5 billion people.
